TKPlayer allows you to control the media by altering playback options, including but not limited to converting brightness/contrast/saturation/aspect ratio, setting sound equalizer, adding subtitles, etc. As for the video quality, you have the access to switch among different video resolutions.
TKPlayer is free for both Windows and Mac users, you may like to save or download a specific frame while playing back the movies, so it is also equipped with the video capture tool to record the screen and auto-save it as JPG or PNG format in lossless quality.
Step 1: Open Media File/Folder in TKPlayer for Windows
You are provided with 3 options to locate and open the target files in TKPlayer. Firstly, you can directly drag the media item(s) into the main window. Or click the 'Open media' button on the interface to import a single file or whole playlist. Or alternatively, click the 'Unfold' button from the right sidebar and then hit the '+' icon to add the specific file(s).
Step 2: Play the Video/Audio as Expected
Once the media file is loaded into TKPlayer, it will begin to play automatically. Then you can manage the playback process by clicking the 'Pause', 'Stop', 'Fast Forward', and 'Back Forward' buttons if you like.
To take a screencast of the video, you can simply press the 'Snapshot' button in the control panel. Then the screen will be saved in JPG or PNG format. If you import multiple files in bulk into TKPlayer, you can set the play mode as list play, shuffle play, single repeat or list cycle from the hidden right sidebar.
Step 3: Customize Playback Effects (Optional)
In case you may like to add special effects to the video/audio while playing it in TKPlayer, it offers additional options for you to control the playback in your own way. Simply click the 'Settings' icon in the control panel, and then you'll be directed to the window where you can choose video and audio controls, such as changing brightness, aspect ratio, adding sound effects, selecting subtitles (CC included), adjusting synchronization, etc.
